Equinox Frontispiece

This Image was used on the cover of the A∴A∴ Textbook series, The Equinox, published in 1909. The Ram and Lady Justice represent the Signs in which the Equinoxes occur, Aries and Libra. They are resting on a Shield containing symbols of the first two orders of the A∴A∴. The blazing sun is a symbol for the “Golden Dawn”, the name of the Outer College. The Rose Cross represents the Inner College, called “The Order of the Rosy Cross”. The Eye in the Triangle symbolizes the 3rd Order, “The Order of the S∴S∴”.
